Our Interior Design philosophy revolves around the idea that great design comes from a multitude of resources, education, quality products and experience. With a timeless and classic approach to design, we utilize neutral foundations of traditional, transitional and modern sensibilities to make design approachable and luxurious. Incorporating traditional furnishings and contemporary elements, we are known for our realistic approach to creating sophisticated and timeless interiors.
Incorporating our experience in business with our love of design, we feel our background helps us wear the hat of 'client' as well as 'designer.' It is our belief that homes should be as functional as they are beautiful and as comfortable as they are polished. We enjoy creating spaces that evolve with a client, easily adapting to their ever-changing lives. Our services are multifaceted and range from commercial to residential design consultations and project supervision of full-scale renovations and new construction.
Beyond The Front Door is a full-service interior design firm, based in Southern California in Rancho Santa Fe. Teresa Combs is the principal designer and her husband Edward Combs manages construction projects and renovations for the company under his General Contractors license CSLB#1012477.
